Features, use cases, knowledge base
Creating a short link through the GUI is simple and flexible. You only need to provide the destination URL and select a domain - all other fields are optional and can be used to customize link behavior, analytics, or access rules.

| Original URL | Paste the long link you want to shorten. | ✅ |
| Domain | Select a domain (e.g., state.sk, your custom domain, or a personal subdomain). | ✅ |
You can now customize the short link using optional fields:
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Slug | Customizes the final part of the short URL (e.g., state.sk/my-link). If left blank, it’s generated automatically. |
| Title | A label for your link (helpful for organization and search). Automatically fetched if empty. |
| Folder | Assign the link to a specific folder for better organization. |
| Tags | Add existing tags to categorize the link. |
| Field | What it does |

| iOS URL | Redirects iOS users to a different link (e.g., App Store link). |
| Android URL | Redirects Android users to a specific link (e.g., Google Play link). |

| Password | Requires users to enter a password to access the link. |

| Expires At (Date) | Automatically disables the link on a specific date. |
| Expires After (Clicks) | The link stops working after a set number of clicks. |
| Expire Redirect URL | Users are redirected to this URL once the link expires. |

| Redirect Code | Choose the HTTP status code (e.g., 302 temporary, 301 permanent). Default is 302. |
Use these fields if you're tracking campaigns (e.g., via Google Analytics):

| UTM Source | Identifies where traffic comes from (e.g., facebook, newsletter). |
| UTM Medium | Defines the marketing channel (e.g., social, email, cpc). |
| UTM Campaign | Specifies the campaign name (e.g., black-friday, launch). |
| UTM Term | Used to track paid keywords or search terms. |
| UTM Content | Distinguishes between ads or creative variations. |
| UTM Reference | Custom tracking field (useful for referral programs). |
If the original URL already has UTM parameters, these fields will override them.
If slug is auto-generated, you may be able to define the desired slug length .
